About The Green Grass Company

Morning comes up the Arkansas River valley early, and the light reaches Cañon City lawns while the grass is still holding dew. The Green Grass Company works that hour — mowing, edging, string trimming, and hauling off the clippings and seasonal debris so a yard looks finished rather than merely cut. There is a particular satisfaction in the line where turf meets concrete: sharp, unwavering, the kind of edge you notice from the sidewalk without knowing why. With the Sangre de Cristos holding the far southern horizon and the sun staying late over the hogbacks, a green yard here earns its keep all summer long. Regular mowing visits, spring and fall cleanups, and the steady upkeep that lets a homeowner walk out the front door and simply enjoy the place.
