About J&J Services LLC

South of town the South Fork of the Republican River draws a green seam through the shortgrass, cottonwoods leaning over the water the way they have always leaned. J&J Services LLC works Burlington's yards in something like that spirit — shade, water and patience, applied on a weekly basis. Mowing, edging, trimming, and the line run clean along a foundation until the grass ends exactly where a person means it to. On a July evening the last pass leaves a yard smelling like the river bottom after rain. Cleanups take the season's litter away before the wind gets a chance to redistribute it up and down the block.
