About Eastern Colorado Seeds

Burlington sits where the mountains have long since given up and the sky takes over the whole job. Grain elevators stand in for skyline out here, and morning light crosses the wheat country from the Kansas line before most of Colorado has opened its eyes. Eastern Colorado Seeds mows, edges and trims lawns in a county where every green thing was put here on purpose and kept alive the same way. There is a particular satisfaction to a yard held neat against so much open prairie — the line where the blade stopped, clean as a fencerow. Seasonal cleanups carry off the cottonwood leaves and the tumbleweed the wind delivers for free. It is plain work, and it reads from the road.
