About Timber & Lawn

In September the cottonwoods along the Arkansas turn a hard yellow, the aspens follow on the flanks of Mount Princeton, and Buena Vista starts thinking about frost. Timber & Lawn spends that stretch on the last mows and the fall cleanup — leaves and needles off the turf, beds cleared, edges cut sharp one final time before the cold. Through summer it is the weekly work: mowing, string trimming along fences and rock borders, edging the drive and the walks. The season is brief up in this valley, so nothing gets skipped inside it. A cut lawn with the Collegiate Peaks standing behind it needs no decoration at all.
