Brush summers run hot and green, with sprinklers going at dusk and the sound of mowers up and down the streets near the park. K&M Lawn Care works that season the plain way — weekly mowing, trimming around trees and fences, edging the sidewalk into a clean seam, clippings off the concrete. Then the year turns and the same trucks are out at daybreak, plowing driveways and clearing walks after a storm has come down the Platte valley overnight.
