About Outlook Lawns

Some evenings the Flatirons go the color of a struck match, and that is the hour a freshly cut lawn in Boulder looks like it was meant to — every blade holding the last of the light. Outlook Lawns keeps yards along the Table Mesa benches and the streets below the NCAR mesa in trim, tidy shape, mowing to a clean height and running the edger until the walkway lines are true. Boulder ground is generous in June and stubborn in August, so the work bends to it: closer attention when the heat leans in, a gathering-up of clippings and leaves once the cottonwoods begin to let go. The result is the plain pleasure of coming up the drive to a yard that has clearly been looked after. A view like this one deserves a foreground worth looking at.
