About Eco Conscious Company "Land Stewards"

Water arrives in Boulder on a schedule older than the neighborhoods — the ditches fill in spring, run all summer and go quiet in fall, and every lawn in town lives inside that arrangement. Eco Conscious Company "Land Stewards" mows, trims and edges with that in mind, holding the cut high enough that roots stay shaded and the ground keeps what it is given. Beds and borders are cleaned out in spring and again once the leaves are down, and aeration and overseeding go in during the cool weeks when new grass will actually take. Along the Farmers Ditch the grass greens early and stays that way; a block out on drier ground it needs a different hand entirely. Same town, two climates, and a lawn kept well in both.
