About Goodspeed Lawn and Design

September turns the aspen pockets tucked among the Black Forest pines a startling gold, and it is the best month to see whether a yard has been shaped or merely cut. Goodspeed Lawn and Design mows, trims and edges with an eye on the lines a property draws — bed to turf, turf to gravel, gravel to trees — and clears the season's fall so nothing sits matted under the first storm. Landscape work in this climate is about arranging things to hold up rather than fighting what the weather intends. Once winter takes hold, that same ground gets plowed and the walks get shoveled and treated down to bare footing. A property ought to look considered in every month of the year, and that is what the work is aimed at.
