About Core Field Services

An upslope storm doesn't come down from the peaks; it slides in off the plains from the northeast, gray and low, and lays snow on Berthoud for a day and a half without hurrying. Core Field Services works those long ones in rounds — plowing commercial lots and drive lanes, keeping entries and walks open between passes, spreading de-icer on the aprons where a lot always freezes first. Nobody sees the two o'clock round, which is precisely the point: the morning shift arrives to pavement. Stacking piles where the meltwater runs off instead of back across the drive is half the craft. When the ceiling finally lifts, the lot lines are showing again.
