By late September the rabbitbrush goes yellow across the mesa and the light arrives sideways, long and warm, right up until the first hard frost. Mesa Premier Landscaping LLC works through that turn — mowing and trimming while the grass is still moving, edging walks and bed lines, then fall cleanups, leaves and cutbacks before winter shuts everything down. Spring returns fast in this valley and rewards the yards that were put to bed properly. Between mowing weeks there is tidying: bed lines redrawn, fence lines trimmed out, clippings blown off the concrete. Cutting a straight line on ground that rolls toward the river takes some doing, and it shows.
