About Extra Mile Services

Battlement Mesa is a place of long looping streets and cul-de-sacs laid across a bench above the river, which adds up to a great many driveway aprons and a great deal of sidewalk. Extra Mile Services works that geometry in the dark hours — plow passes on the drives, a shovel and scoop at the steps and mail approaches, ice melt where a north-facing walk stays slick past noon. Storms come through this valley more often than they come hard, and the ones that matter are the ones that freeze afterward. Walk to car, car to street, street to town: the chain only works if every link is open. Handing somebody a morning where the weather is simply not their problem is a fine thing to do before breakfast.
