Bennett Plow

About Bennett Plow

Out on Aurora's east edge, where the subdivisions give way to section roads and the E-470 lights run off into nothing, snow does not always fall so much as travel. A ground blizzard can close a driveway that was clear an hour ago, and Bennett Plow goes back for it. Long rural drives, farm approaches and in-town lots all get the same treatment, pushed wide and banked where the next gust will not simply refill them, opened again before the school bus comes. There is a plain kind of pride in headlights finding a clean lane across an all-white morning. Plowing across Aurora and east toward Watkins, Bennett and Strasburg.
