The West Solution

About The West Solution

The storms that really matter in Arvada do not come down from the mountains. They wheel in from the northeast, pile up against the range, and hand this town its deepest snow in March, long after everyone has decided winter is finished. The West Solution meets them on arrival: plowing the drives and lots, hand-clearing walks and stairs where a blade cannot go, putting ice control on the north faces that stay frozen while the rest of the block is already drying in the sun. A spring storm can be gone from the streets by early afternoon and still leave a driveway that needs opening at six in the morning. Getting there first is the whole job, and the sound of a scraped, clear drive is the proof.
