True Trim Lawns

About True Trim Lawns

There is a half hour in the evening when the light comes in low and level across Ralston Central Park, and it lands sideways on every lawn in Arvada, which is when you can suddenly see each edge for what it is. True Trim Lawns thinks about that half hour while doing the work. A cut held at an even height, a trim line carried all the way around the posts and the mailbox, a border along the concrete that stays straight instead of wandering. Clippings swept off the walk, because the edge does not read right if the sidewalk is still green. Small distinctions, repeated week to week, are what separate a mowed yard from a finished one.
