About Tavi

Evening near the Adams State blocks, and the mowers have all gone silent except one, finishing a last yard while swallows work the sky over the rooftops. Tavi keeps it small and does it properly: mowing, trimming, edging, cleanups, and hauling away what comes off. In Alamosa the warm stretch is brief and the sun is strong, so a lawn answers fast to steady attention and just as fast to none. There is nothing complicated in a straight cut and an even line, only the doing of it, week after week, until the yard simply looks right. The final pass runs to the sidewalk, the trimmer stops, and the street goes still.
