About Sunset Landscape Services Co

Most evenings the Sutter Buttes go flat and blue against an orange sky, and for about twenty minutes the whole valley looks lit from underneath. Sunset Landscape Services Co works the hours leading up to that: mowing, edging, shaping shrubs, and clearing the green waste off Yuba City lawns before the light goes long. A cut lawn takes evening light better than anything else in a yard — the mower lines show, the borders hold, the shade pools where it should. Landscape work here is mostly about giving the sun something worth landing on. The Buttes will do their part; the yard is the part somebody has to tend.
