East of town the ground begins to lift, and Foothill Regional Park holds its ponds and its oak shade up there like something saved for later. Yards on that side of Windsor live in dappled light — half sun, half canopy — and grass grown under oaks needs a lighter touch and a different blade height than grass grown out in the open. Bowman Landscaping mows to that difference, keeps the trimming tight around trunks and fence posts, and clears the leaf litter that drifts in whenever the wind comes down off the hills. Shrubs get shaped so they read as intentional instead of merely large. The result is a yard that looks like it belongs to the hillside rather than fighting it.
