el paisano

About el paisano

After a winter rain the San Gabriels stand sharp above the rooftops, and Willowbrook's lawns come up green almost overnight. el paisano works these streets the neighborly way — mowing front yards, edging along the walks, pulling the weeds that try to settle in with the wet months. On Sunday mornings the neighborhood smells of cut grass and coffee, and half the street knows the sound of the mower by heart. A yard here is where life happens, and keeping it green and low is honest work. That is the whole trade, and it is done with pride.
