Marvin's Garden Tree Services

About Marvin's Garden Tree Services

Brooktrails is a forest with a town scattered through it — Douglas fir and redwood on nearly every parcel, narrow roads winding up the ridges above Willits. Marvin's Garden Tree Services goes house by house among those trees, taking out a fir that has died back over a roof, trimming to open a little sky above a cabin, pruning to hold limbs away from decks and service lines. Summers are dry and dusty on these roads; winters arrive as weeks of rain, and that is usually when a tired tree finally lets go. Storm damage cleanup here is a matter of getting a road open and a driveway usable, then carrying out everything that came down. Standing back afterward and watching the light land on a deck that sat in shade for years is the good part.
