Abiah Mowing

About Abiah Mowing

Summer mornings come gently to Wheatland — a thin mist off the Bear River, dew still silvering the lawns before the valley heat takes hold. Abiah Mowing likes to work those early hours, when cut lines show cleanest and the day still smells of wet grass. It is mowing done with attention: edges squared along the walk, trimmings cleared, the whole yard left with that fresh-striped calm. In a town surrounded by rice fields and orchards, a tended lawn is its own small harvest. From Wheatland out to Plumas Lake and the country roads between, that is the work — steady, simple, done right.
