About Raulin Lima Garden Services

December is when this part of Los Angeles County turns green — the rain comes through, the Baldwin Hills go soft and grassy off to the northwest, and the lawns of Westmont wake up instead of going to sleep. Raulin Lima Garden Services works the winter here the way other places work spring: mowing on cool mornings, edging the walks, cutting hedges back, raking and carting off whatever the storms bring down. Growth slows and then surges, so the visits keep their pace and the yard never gets away from anybody. There is a particular satisfaction in a lawn that is deep green in the last week of the year, edged sharp, waiting on company. This is the season the trade gets to show off.
