Taylor's Landscape Design

About Taylor's Landscape Design

The valley oaks of the Conejo are the oldest residents of Westlake Village, and any landscape worth making begins by listening to them. Taylor's Landscape Design starts there — with the shape of the land, the arc of an old canopy, the way late-afternoon gold pours under the branches — and designs yards that belong to their place. Then comes the part design books skip: the tending. Lawns are mowed and kept, plantings are groomed, lines are maintained so the original idea stays legible year after year. A well-designed yard in this valley should feel inevitable, as if it grew here. Making it feel that way takes both the drawing and the doing, and Taylor's does both.
