Jon's Lawns & Gardens

About Jon's Lawns & Gardens

Just below Westhaven, the Little River slides out across the sand at Moonstone Beach, and on a still June morning the fog hangs low enough to touch. Jon's Lawns & Gardens tends lawns and gardens among the homes on this misty stretch of Humboldt County. Cool, damp air makes grass grow thick and gardens grow wild, so the art is keeping both handsome without taming that coastal looseness. A lawn mown neat, a flower bed weeded and given room to breathe, a path's border made sharp again. When the fog lifts toward midday, it reveals a yard as fresh as the morning tide line.
