The grass barber

About The grass barber

A good cut is a good cut, whether it's a fade or a front lawn — and The Grass Barber brings a barber's eye to the yards of West Whittier. Every visit is an appointment: the lawn taken down to an even, healthy height, the edges lined up sharp as a razor along the walk, the hedges cleaned up around the ears. This stretch of the county sits between the San Gabriel River and the Puente Hills, where the light comes low and gold in the late afternoon and a fresh-cut lawn shows every line. The chair, so to speak, is always busy in the growing season, and the yards leave looking sharp. West Whittier and Los Nietos are home turf, with the neighboring river towns on the books too.
