About Rootstic Art Landscape Corp.

In winter the storms roll in off the bay and stack against the Santa Cruz Mountains, and by morning the redwood ridge behind town is steaming in the first sun. Rootstic Art Landscape Corp. treats a lawn as a composed thing — mowed to an even plane, given a real line at its edges, trimmed where the deck cannot reach, swept clean when the machines go quiet. The wet months bring growth and mud together, so timing and a light touch matter more than horsepower. Stepping back from a yard that reads as finished rather than simply cut is its own kind of pleasure. Watsonville and the hill neighborhoods east of the river share the calendar.
