Handlebar Landscapes

About Handlebar Landscapes

The trail along the slough is busiest mid-morning — walkers, bicycles, and an egret standing perfectly still in the shallows, unimpressed by any of it. The neighborhoods that touch that path are where Handlebar Landscapes spends its weeks: mowing, edging, trimming around fences and posts, weeding beds and carrying the clippings out. A yard that faces a public path gets looked at every single day, which is a fine reason to keep its lines honest. There is craft in the small things — a border cut true, a stretch of grass the same height corner to corner. Good work in good air, and the whole valley for a backdrop.
