Bloom and Build

About Bloom and Build

Autumn downtown is gentle — the plaza's old trees releasing a few leaves at a time, the bandstand quiet, the Victorians on the side streets holding their porches up to a low sun. Bloom and Build works those blocks and the newer neighborhoods beyond them, mowing, edging, trimming shrubs and hedges, and clearing leaves before the first rains glue them down. Small lots reward care, because every line on them shows. The pleasure is in the finish: grass cut to one height, the sidewalk line neat and unbroken, the walk swept before anyone drives away. A tended yard makes a whole street feel looked after, one house at a time.
