About Sempervirens Gardening

Tule fog settles over the valley in January and Wasco goes soft-edged for days — orchards disappear at fifty yards, and the only color left anywhere is whatever stays green. Sempervirens Gardening works with that stubborn green: mowing through the cool months, trimming, keeping shrubs and borders in shape while the rest of the year sleeps. Cool-season yard care is unhurried, and there is a reward in walking a lawn that stayed cared-for the whole time nobody was looking at it. When the fog finally lifts and the sun comes through, the grass is already even and the borders are already set. They tend yards in Wasco and the towns around it, month after month.
