American Refuse

About American Refuse

Come October the valley starts letting go — mulberry and cottonwood leaves, spent vines, the dry sweep of a growing season winding down. American Refuse takes that head-on: yard cleanups, debris gathered and carried off, lawns mowed and edged back into shape underneath it all. There is a real satisfaction in the before-and-after of a corner lot — the pile loaded and gone, the turf suddenly visible again. Wasco's air turns soft and a little smoky that time of year, and a cleared yard reads like a held breath let out. They work Wasco and the towns close by, hauling away what the year no longer needs.
