About Escoto Landscaping

By late afternoon in a Volta summer, the heat lies over the fields like a heavy blanket until a westerly wind finally pushes through the coast range passes and the cottonwoods along the canals begin to stir. Escoto Landscaping does its lawn and landscape work in this west-side farm country, where water moves through canals and ditches and every green lawn owes something to them. From June through September, irrigated grass grows quickly, and mowing, trimming and edging keep a yard looking cared for against the dust. Evenings bring swallows over the water and a long slant of amber light across the farmland. A yard finished as that light fades, cut short and swept clean, is a cool green island in a hot gold country.
