Palms line stretches of Visalia's streets and throw their long ragged shadows across the pavement by mid-afternoon in July, when the valley sun comes down like something with weight to it. Tropical Landscape Design leans into that — lawns mowed and edged on schedule, palms and shrubs cleaned up and shaped, and plantings chosen and laid out for yards that have to live through both a hundred-degree August and a foggy January. Design here starts with what will still look good in the third summer, not the first month. The crew works Visalia and out toward Tulare and Farmersville, matching the planting to the light each yard actually gets. Done right, a valley yard reads green and shaded even at the hottest hour of the day.
