Nickell's Lawn Care

About Nickell's Lawn Care

Tule fog comes down over Tulare County in December and by seven in the morning all of Visalia is soft-edged, the streetlights still burning and the lawns silvered with wet. Nickell's Lawn Care works right through it — leaf removal, cleanup of what the sycamores and liquidambars let go, dormant-season mowing, edging, hedge trimming and weed control so nothing gets ahead over the cool months. Winter here does not stop a yard; it just slows it down enough that careful work shows. When the fog burns off around noon and the Sierra appears white and enormous to the east, the difference between a tended lawn and a neglected one is plain from the street. Come spring the ones they have kept clean green up first, and that is the point of every foggy morning.
