About Lucas Green Gardens

February is a working month in this valley — cool, damp enough, and the last chance to cut things back hard before everything wakes up. Lucas Green Gardens spends it in the backyards of Rialto, pruning, turning beds, and setting plants that will be established long before the first triple-digit afternoon. Through the rest of the year the work is steady upkeep: grass mowed and edged, shrubs trimmed, leaves and clippings carried away. A garden here is a conversation with the sun, and where the shade falls at four o'clock decides half of what will thrive. Get that right and the yard hands something back every month of the year.
