About Tobar Landscaping & concrete

The Victorians on the streets off Georgia Street were built for narrow lots — a few steps of walk, a square of lawn, a strip of concrete running back toward the garage. Tobar Landscaping & concrete works in exactly that space, where the green and the grey meet and both have to line up. Mowing and edging, hedges trimmed to the porch rail, beds weeded and cleaned out, and then the flatwork: walkways, patio slabs, pads and steps poured and finished so the lawn has a clean hard edge to grow up against. Afternoon light in downtown Vallejo is generous to a fresh pour and a freshly cut yard alike. Coming back the next week to see the two still sitting square together is the whole reward.
