About Smith Landscape

At Euclid and Foothill, the Madonna of the Trail has been watching Route 66 traffic roll past for a long while — one of those Upland corners everybody uses as a landmark without ever thinking about it. Smith Landscape works the blocks around it, mowing and edging front yards on streets that were laid out back when this was a highway town. The job is straightforward and there is craft in it anyway: a clean cut, a true edge, weeds handled before they take hold, walks blown clear. A well-kept lawn on an old street quietly holds the whole block up. They do that, week in and week out, and the street shows it.
