About Wood's Outdoor Services

Sunrise in Ukiah arrives late and sideways — the light has to clear the ridge above Cow Mountain before it reaches the valley floor, so the first hour of work happens in blue shade. Wood's Outdoor Services is out in it: mowing, edging along drives and walkways, trimming the margins, and clearing the hard surfaces before moving on. The wet months push grass hard and the visits come close together; the dry months turn the job toward cleanup and beating the afternoon heat. Yards, rentals and small commercial grounds around town keep one calendar all year. By the time the light drops back over the valley, the day's properties are already squared away.
