About Lu's landscape

Spring in the high desert arrives as wind — days of it, pressing tumbleweed against fences from Luckie Park out to the last paved block. Lu's landscape works with that rather than against it: mowing, trimming and edging, clearing out whatever the wind delivered overnight, and hauling it off instead of letting it drift into the next yard. The trick in April is coming back the following week, and the week after that. By May the lines are holding and the fence line is clear. Simple work, done on time, is what makes a street look looked-after.
