Twain Harte Tree Service

About Twain Harte Tree Service

Twain Harte sits right about where the snow line likes to argue with itself, ponderosa and incense cedar on nearly every lot, Highway 108 climbing past toward the high country. Twain Harte Tree Service knows what that elevation does to a tree: wet snow that loads a limb until it goes, then a dry summer that asks the same tree to hold on anyway. Pruning and tree trimming here mean clearance over cabin roofs and decks, deadwood out of the crown, low limbs lifted off the trunk. Tree removal comes for the pine that has died standing over a driveway, and storm damage cleanup for the mornings after, when the lake road is half blocked and somebody has to make it passable. The smell of fresh cedar and warm pitch is how the neighbors know the crew has been by.
