Green Forever

About Green Forever

When the Santa Anas come down through the canyons in October, Tustin gets scoured — the sky goes hard blue, the air goes dry, and every yard along Red Hill Avenue collects a week of other people's leaves overnight. Green Forever works the morning after: raked, blown, hauled, the lawn cut back to a shape you can see. The rest of the year is steadier work, mowing and edging and feeding turf that has to hold its color through long rainless stretches. This is Orange County ground, flat and open to the sun, and grass here keeps faith only with people who keep faith with it. The result is worth the discipline — a lawn that reads green and level from the curb, whatever the wind has been up to.
