Armstrong Garden Centers

About Armstrong Garden Centers

Main Street in Old Town Tustin keeps its pepper trees, and early on their shade lies across the sidewalk in long torn pieces before the day turns warm. That is the hour this lawn work belongs to — mower lines drawn while the blades still hold the coolness of the night, edges cut clean along curbs that have watched a century of this town go by. The flat blocks here reward patience: an even green, a border that reads sharp from the street, nothing shouting for attention. Armstrong Garden Centers keeps turf mowed, fed and tidied on a calendar that turns on winter rain rather than frost, out through Tustin and toward Santa Ana and Orange. It is ordinary care given close attention, and you can see it best at five in the afternoon, when the light comes in sideways and every edge holds a shadow.
