About Hauff Excavation Inc.

Summer in Truckee is brief and brilliant, wedged between the last spring flurries and the first hard frost, while under the pines lies thin soil laid over granite. Hauff Excavation Inc., a Truckee excavation company, also keeps lawns and yards looking sharp through these few warm months. By July the meadows of Martis Valley run green, and afternoon thunderheads tower over the ridges while the grass gets its trim below. A lawn cut close and edged clean against the pine needles at nearly six thousand feet counts as a quiet triumph over altitude and a short season. Once September chills the nights, the work turns to raking needles and readying the ground for winter.
