About Turf-N-Tree Landscape Installers & Tree Services

October is installation weather in Tracy — the heat finally off the ground, the hills west of town still bleached, and soil warm enough that roots go looking before winter. Turf-N-Tree Landscape Installers & Tree Services works both halves of its name on days like that: pallets of sod cut and butted into place across a prepared grade, then a shade tree set in a hole dug wide, staked straight, watered in and left to do fifteen years of quiet work. The tree side of the business keeps its own calendar too, with trimming to open a crown, storm-damaged limbs taken down, and removals handled where a trunk has outlived its spot. A yard installed in autumn is a promise made to the following July. Standing back at the end of one of those days, with new turf seamed tight and a young canopy pointed skyward, is about as good as this trade gets.
