About SSAW Tree And Gardening Services

By mid-July, shade is the most valuable thing on a Tracy street. SSAW Tree And Gardening Services spends its afternoons up where that shade is made — thinning a crown so evening air can pass through it, lifting limbs clear of a roofline, taking deadwood out of a tree along the old blocks near Central Avenue that has stood through more valley summers than the house beneath it. Back on the ground the work turns patient and close: beds weeded down to bare soil, hedges shaped square, grass cut and the clippings carried off rather than left to bake. The pleasure of it is in the after — a yard that looks tended from the sidewalk and feels ten degrees kinder from the porch. Trees and gardens keep different clocks, and this is a crew willing to mind both.
