Aloha Pond Services

About Aloha Pond Services

Torrance keeps one wild acre of water at Madrona Marsh, which fills with the winter rain and holds the sky in it until summer takes it back. Aloha Pond Services works in that same element at backyard scale — pond and water feature care, pumps and filtration, algae and leaf litter, plantings kept in check at the margin. Clear water is the entire point: when the pump note settles and you can count the stones on the bottom, a yard suddenly has a center. Around the water goes the ordinary green work, trimming and cleanup and keeping the beds from crowding the edge. From the flats near downtown out to Walteria, it is mostly the art of keeping water and garden in agreement.
