About Preferred Turf Inc

October flips the switch in the Conejo Valley: the wind turns around and comes down out of the Simi Hills hot and dry, and by morning every lawn wears a scatter of leaves and grit. Preferred Turf Inc handles the aftermath — cleanup and hauling, mowing back to an even height, edges recut where the gusts blurred them. Fall is also when turf can be fed for the wet months ahead, so fertilization and weed control run right alongside the raking. Work the yards off Erbes and Avenida de las Flores long enough and you learn exactly which side of a house collects the drift. Handing back a cleared, level lawn after a windy week is a genuinely good feeling.
