About Nickel Creek Landscaping and Design

In January the hillsides above Talmage go startlingly green after the rains, and the valley lies so quiet under its low winter sky that it is easy to see a property for what it could become. Nickel Creek Landscaping and Design works from that kind of seeing: reading how the ground slopes, where afternoon shade will fall, how a lawn and its plantings can frame a view toward the ridgeline. Design comes first, then the hands-on landscaping that turns a sketch into beds, borders and turf with a shape that makes sense. There is a deep pleasure in watching a plan take root in real soil. Come spring, the finished yard does not look imposed on Talmage so much as grown out of it.
