About Green Envy, Inc.

On a July afternoon the lake off Tahoe City is an almost unreasonable blue, and a strip of green lawn between the pines answers it perfectly. Green Envy builds and keeps those strips — mowing, edging, feeding turf that has to sprint through a growing season squeezed between snowmelt and first frost. The properties here sit under big Jeffrey and sugar pines, so the work is as much about needles, cones, and duff as it is about grass; every visit ends with the ground clean down to the green. Alpine light is unforgiving in a useful way: it shows a true edge and an even cut from across the street. That is the look the crew leaves behind, all summer long.
