About Mountain View Tree Service

Sunnyvale still keeps a few acres of apricot trees, and for about ten days in February the whole old idea of this valley comes back in white blossom. Mountain View Tree Service works the streets around them, pruning fruit trees and shade trees and trimming the camphors and redwoods that line the older blocks. Cuts are made for structure, so a young tree grows into a shape that will not split apart twenty years from now. When a tree has to come out of a backyard fenced on three sides, removal happens in careful sections and the lawn is left clean enough to walk barefoot. Storms coming in off the Baylands bring the other half of the work — limbs off the driveway, debris hauled, the block looking settled again by afternoon.
