About Dreamscape Design & Build

Summer in this town has an evening trick: the heat sits on everything until about six, and then the breeze comes up off the delta and the whole valley exhales. Dreamscape Design & Build likes finishing a yard right into that hour, when the mowing lines are still fresh and the jasmine along the fence starts to carry. The work under all of it is unglamorous and exact — cutting, edging, trimming, shaping hedges, clearing beds, hauling off what was cut. Tired lawns get brought back in steps rather than all at once, then kept on a rhythm so they never slide again. The dream part is not complicated: you come out with a coffee, and the yard already looks the way you had been meaning to make it look.
