Ladies of the Lawn Yard Care

About Ladies of the Lawn Yard Care

The streets around University of the Pacific keep their brick, their ivy and their roses, and the lawns there are old enough to have opinions. Ladies of the Lawn Yard Care works those blocks in the morning cool — mowing, edging along brick walks, trimming, deadheading and weeding the beds, and clearing up so nothing is left on the path. Older turf under big trees needs patience more than power, and it answers to a light, regular hand. The prettiest part of the job is the border where lawn meets flower bed, cut clean enough to look drawn. That line is what makes an ordinary yard read as cared for.
